Rebecca Ritchie is a Learning Designer at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
Rebecca has over 22 years’ experience in education, 17 in Higher Ed. She was a key member in Macquarie University’s transition to Moodle, training staff in the new Learning Management System (LMS) underpinned by pedagogical best practices. Rebecca spent four years working as an Instructional Designer at the University of Washington, Seattle where she was part of a new team specialising in the creation and delivery of free training and resources for people working in the mental and behavioural health fields.
She is passionate about positive and effective educational experiences for students, and the affordances of emerging educational technologies. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (National Art School) and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Australian Catholic University).
