Become a content creator with your mobile device
Communication between a business or organisation and its clientele is increasingly taking place online and on social media. This course will get you on track to create content efficiently and with confidence.
You’ll gain skills in videography, sound recording and editing on the mobile platform and first-hand experience in conceptualising and executing a short video piece. The emphasis is on understanding how to deliver a highly polished product complete with music, graphics, titles and logos – all created on your iPhone, Android or iPad.
The course is delivered either online over five weeks, with weekly live Zoom sessions in the evening, or as a one-day workshop at AFTRS during business hours. Both courses have a maximum of 12 participants.

What you will need
You do not need any prior experience. You will need familiarity with your own mobile device’s interface and operating system, and access to free editing software.
For the online course, you will need access to a desktop or laptop computer with a camera, sound and good internet connection, as well as a quiet place to participate. Headphones are recommended.
The regular online chat sessions use Zoom. Please note that the first chat session is designed as an introductory session for the students and tutor to meet each other and iron out any possible connection issues.
This course is only open to students aged 18+.
