Podcasting for your Brand

MAKING THE MOST OF AUDIO TO SPEAK TO YOUR AUDIENCE

If you’re looking to use audio in your marketing and communication mix, this course is designed for you.

With the help of this course, you will identify a podcast opportunity for your brand and explore the podcast production process stage by stage, applying techniques to your podcast, as you develop the pilot episode through the course.

You will learn how to identify your audience and podcast niche. You will explore internal and external opportunities for audio, learn techniques for scripting, writing show notes and develop best practices in producing, presenting and publishing podcasts.

This course is available in-person or online. The in-person course is delivered at AFTRS in Sydney over two days with a week in between. The online course is delivered over three weeks, with weekly live Zoom sessions. Both classes have a maximum capacity of 10 participants.

If you’re interested in learning more about how you can use audio to build an audience, strengthen your brand and communicate with teams, this course will give you the necessary skills to plan, structure, and produce branded podcast content, while also developing your writing and ideation skills.

Pariya Taherzadeh and Jay Gasser deliver the in-person course and Toni Tenaglia the online course.

This course is only open to students aged 18+.

Course Delivery & Requirements

Please come to the course with an idea for a podcast. You will also need a smartphone and access to free editing software.

For the online course and to attend the weekly Zoom sessions, you will also need a computer with a built-in camera or USB microphone/camera, and a good internet connection.
