With filmmakers flocking to Cannes this week, we’re excited to announce that MumLife – which had its world premiere at La Cinef in 2022 – is now streaming online as YouTube’s Short of the Week.
A 2021 Master of Arts Screen capstone project, MumLife is a 15-minute pop musical about post-natal anxiety, written by Gerard Dewhurst based on a story by director Ruby Challenger and producer Claudia Shepherd. The trio collaborated with Sophia Christopher, who composed all the original numbers that have captivated festival audiences here and around the world. Now you can watch the film online:
MumLife has been picked as YouTube’s Short of the Week. With an audience of millions, Short of the Week showcases over 2,000 short films from more than 50 countries across every genre.
