Voting for the 2021 AACTA Awards is underway in the short-form and online categories. Among the eligible works are a staggering 42 titles by AFTRS students and alumni.
Three AFTRS graduate films are vying for nominations in the Best Short Film/Online Drama category: Jennifer Hicks’ The Stranger (Master of Arts Screen, 2020), Jaslyn Mairs’ Sunburn (Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, 2019) and Lev Jutsen’s Erwin (Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production, 2018).
Thirty-nine titles by AFTRS alumni are up for nominations in the Best Short Film/Online Drama, Best Short Form/Online Comedy and Best Short Form/Online Entertainment categories. These include –
