AFTRS alumni have been recognised at the Australian Cinematographers Society Victorian and Tasmanian Awards.
Sherwin Akbarzadeh (Graduate Diploma Cinematography, 2011) took home the the Gold award in Music Videos for his work on Ruel’s video Painkiller. Also winning in the Music Videos category is Alex Serafini (Graduate Certificate in Cinematography Fundamentals 2013) who took the bronze for PLGRMS’ Daylight.
In Documentaries, James Brown ACS (Graduate Diploma Cinematography, 2009) won the Silver award for his work on The People of the Land.

The awards were hosted in Abbotsford, Victoria on 19 October.
