Cherry, a new short film made entirely by a team of first year AFTRS Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production students, will have its world premiere at this year’s Revelation Perth International Film Festival.
The film takes an unflinching look at sex through a collection of awkward, perverse, intimate, and sometimes embarrassing virginity stories. Written, directed and produced by Claudia Bailey, the team includes co-writer/co-director Evie Friedrich, co-writer/editor Vanessa Bray, co-producer Tegan Wick, cinematographer Julian Pertout, production designer Evie Fredrick, and sound designer Alex Cake.
The film will precede all screenings of Sari Braithwaite’s [CENSORED], itself made with the support of the the AFTRS Creative Fellowship. The Revelation Perth International Film Festival 2018 runs from 5–18 July.
