The nominees for this year’s Australian Production Design Guild Awards have been unveiled, with AFTRS alumni scoring 7 nominations across 7 different categories.
Felicity Abbott APDG (Master of Arts (Film & Television) (Hons) Design, 1998) is in one of the night’s biggest races, the Dockland Studios Award for Production Design for A Feature Film, for her work on stunning sci-fi UPGRADE. Meanwhile Annie Beauchamp APDG (Specialist Extension Certificate Production Design, 1993) represents our graduates in the TV equivalent, the Award for Production Design for a Television Drama, for her work designing Top Of The Lake: China Girl, co-created by fellow alumni, director Jane Campion (Diploma in Directing, 1983).
The APDG Awards will be held on Sunday, 16 December at The Eternity Playhouse in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
