The Antenna Documentary Film Festival has unveiled its 2018 program. Founded by AFTRS alumni David Rokach (Master of Screen Arts and Business, 2017), this year sees the festival’s 8th edition, with Rokach returning in his role as the festival’s Artistic Director, and recently appointed AFTRS Head of Documentary Richard Welch returning as Co-Director.
AFTRS graduates and current students are well-represented in this year’s program, which includes the world premiere of the debut feature by Blue Lucine (Graduate Diploma in Documentary, 2013), The Eviction (FKA On the Rocks), the story of two life-long friends facing the threat of eviction in Sydney’s iconic Sirius building, and Two Wolves, an incredibly personal and incredibly strange family story made entirely by a team of current Bachelor of Art Screen: Production students. Both films screen in the Australian Competition section.
The 2018 Antenna Documentary Film Festival runs from October 9–14 in Sydney. The full program can be viewed at the festival’s website. A list of films made with the involvement of alumni and current students is below.
