Description:
In collaboration with the Head of Radio teach in areas of expertise, particularly relating to radio announcing and presentation and cross platform broadcasting. Develop, plan and implement Radio Division courses and liaise with the Industry as required.

Director, Education and Research

Description:
The Director of Education & Research is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer for academic leadership and management. In addition, the Director is a member of the Executive and is expected to work closely with other senior staff to manage and promote the overall development of AFTRS. Specific responsibility for developing, managing and evaluating all aspects of the Quality Assurance of Academic Programs. Develop, implement and evaluate AFTRS teaching and learning activities and related policies and procedures. Provide advice on and manage and evaluate the School’s research program including chairing and managing the Research Committee, managing the Academic Board and associated processes, and convening the Master of Arts by Research. Advise staff and senior management on curriculum related matters and be responsible for overseeing and evaluating the annual review, writing and presentation of syllabus.
