WEBSITE COLLECTION NOTICE
The Website Collection Notice informs individuals about how AFTRS collects, stores, uses and discloses the information collected when using the AFTRS website. PRIVACY IMPACT ASSESSMENT (PIA) REGISTER
A privacy impact assessment is a systematic assessment of a project that identifies the impact that the project might have on the privacy of individuals and sets out recommendations for managing, minimising or eliminating that impact.
As a Commonwealth agency, AFTRS is obliged to conduct a privacy impact assessment (PIA) for all high privacy risk projects. Under the Code, effective 1 July 2018, AFTRS must also maintain a register of all the PIA’s that it conducts. As part of the Information Publication Scheme, it must also publish its PIA register, or a version of the register, on the AFTRS website.
Note: There are no PIA’s registered with AFTRS at this time. The empty set PIA Register is included below and will be updated as necessary to contain any future PIA’s.
